An indie bottling of 13 year old single malt from the Mortlach distillery, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2016 by WM Cadenhead. A release of 666 bottles. "6. 6. 6. The number of the Beast (of Dufftown)!"
Caramel, honeycomb, fresh apricot. Cinnamon biscuits.
Grassy at first, though soon enough the vanilla-rich (and slightly smoky) malt envelops it.
More honey, more cinnamon! And now a light hint of flamed orange peel too...
