Distilled at Mortlach in 2013, this single malt spent its first seven years maturing in a refill bourbon hogshead, followed by a further five in a first-fill Australian Shiraz wine cask. A total of 216 bottles were drawn from the cask, independently released by Blind Summit Whisky. You can expect complex helpings of meaty malt, savoury warmth, and vinous red fruits here.
