Distilled at Mortlach in 2010, this single malt spend a dozen years maturing, including a finish in a first fill oloroso sherry hogshead. The cask was opened by independent bottler Woodrow's of Edinburgh in 2022, releasing a total of 275 cask-strength bottles, without added colour or chill filtration.
Heaps of juicy raisins and sultanas, dense oak, and earthy notes of herbal tea joined by black pepper and stone fruits.
Chocolate coffee beans, sweet raisins, candied almonds, and walnuts with a touch of tangy fruit beneath.
Ginger and cinnamon heat, earthy coffee grounds, clove, and nutty malt.
