Drawing on the region's rich wine-making history, Bordeaux-based Moon Harbour distillery has matured this French single malt whisky in sauternes barrels and freshly emptied barrels from acclaimed winery, Château Haut-Bergeron.
Nose: Floral fruitiness from the wine barrels, with nectarines and some heather honey.
Palate: Creamy vanilla, with apricots, ginger, and some dried orange peel.
Finish: Peppery spices build, along with oaky vanilla character.
