A 10 year old Japanese whisky from Monde Shuzo, released in partnership with Whiskies du Monde. Fujikai takes its name from the fact that Monde Shuzo, a winery that also produces the Isawa whiskies, is located at the base of Mount Fuji in what was the Kai Province (Kai-no-kuni). Limited to 8,808 bottles and matured in bourbon casks, it's unclear exactly when this whisky was distilled.
Vegetal and musky, thyme, iodine, acetone, a hint of vanilla and shochu.
Peat, geranium leaf, dried herbs, green apple and walnut.
Drying with some dark spices.
Unique and a little sharp in places, but bound to sell out fairly quickly.

Probably the worst whisky ever made Shocking
This truly deserves to be known as the worst whisky in the world taking the worst bits of Sake and the worst bits of whisky and combining them.
A special taste! Instead of je burned whiskey’s on the scotch market this had more than you suspect
I bought this on a whim based on how horrific the reviews made it out to be, figuring it would be terrible or great, but unique either way. I can confirm that this is terrible. It tastes more like bad sochu than bad whisky, and it really brings nothing worth mentioning to the palate. The nose is all wet trainers and gym mats.
This is the most horrible whisky I have ever tasted. The taste really feel like diesel. It's horrible. Impossible to finish my glass.
