Miyagikyo Nikka Date Bottling Note
What's cool about this bottle of Nikka whisky is that it was produced from a blend of malt and grain whisky from the famous Coffey still at the Miyagiko Distillery in Japan.
What's really cool about it is that it's something of a rarity, as you can only get your hands on it when a bottle belonging to private collection hits the market.
What's super extra cool about it is that the name is not inspired by a time, but a person. The one-eyed feudal warlord, Date Masamune, who ruled the area around Sendai during the early 17th Century.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
