A pair of single malt whiskies from Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery near Sendai, founded in 1969. It's known to produce some of Nikka's fruitier malts, but Japanese distilleries are known to produce various styles at each site. One aspect of production they utilise for this is to use and experiment with various different strains of yeast. This rare limited edition celebrates fermentation specifically, and the fruity, floral notes that can be created and highlighted.
