Millburn 35 Year Old 1969 - Rare Malts

Millburn 35 Year Old 1969 Bottling Note

Distilled at Millburn in 1969 and aged for 35 years before bottling at cask strength for Diageo's Rare Malts range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is full and peppy. There are notes of nutty chewy oils, pine resin and dried peels with a hint of sherry. A spicy Demerara sugar note with a touch of brandy steeped winter fruitcake. The palate is smooth and full. There is a silken delivery with oily lubrication from the walnut and barley sugars and notes of acacia honey and winter spice with cut herbs. The finish is long and quite dry with chewy oak and cut herbs.
