The "Very Rare" range was launched in 1984 to celebrate the very cream of the crop from Midleton. This is the intensely rare 1987 vintage, and they might as well call it Midleton Super Incredibly Rare - because that's what it is. Each bottle is numbered and bears the signature of the Master Distiller Barry Crockelt. The bottle comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

This is beautiful, incredibly smooth like marshmallows. One of the best whisky's i've ever had. Gorgeous. Don't listen to the prick above me, he obviously doesn't know proper whisky.
