Midleton Dair Bluebell 5 Bottling Note

Midleton's Dair Ghaelach has expanded to a new forest! While previous bottling of this virgin oak finished single pot still Irish whiskey have featured casks made from oak from Grinsell's Wood, this edition features oak from Bluebell Forest - which honestly sounds like an area from a video game.

Impressive

Opened this last night. Smell: Floral with green orchard fruits, taste: green fruit again, pot still spiciness which fades, possible citrus fruits. Really excellent. Great story, great whiskey. Loses half a star for the price but I guess Irish Oak isn't cheap.
