Micil Long Walk is a blended Irish whiskey combining a selection of five premium malts and grains, matured in Port, bourbon, and fresh oak casks, and with a signature hint of soft peat smoke! The folks at Micil have shared the breakdown of the blend – it's built around a core of 60% bourbon cask matured grain alongside 20% virgin oak matured grain, 10% Port cask matured grain, 8% Port cask matured double distilled malt, and 2% peated malt. With balanced layers of vanilla, toffee, nutty malt, and soft spice, bolstered by a delicate whisper of peat, it'll shine sipped neat or mixed in cocktails. Try a 35.5ml measure of this combined with 25ml fresh lemon juice and 15ml honey, topped with soda water and ice for Micil's perfect serve, the Long Walk Collins.
