Description
An intriguing blended Irish whiskey from Micil. Inverin is made in small batches and is an eclectic blend. Made up of grain and peated and unpeated malt, the whiskey was matured separately in Pedro Ximenez, first-fill Pedro Ximenez, first-fill re-charred bourbon, chestnut, and first-fill peated poitín casks before being blended together. That's a lot of casks! The final product boasts plenty of layered smoky notes alongside silky sweetness and spice. A real winter warmer.

Nose
Baked apples, with vanilla pod, heaps of baking spices, and distant bonfires.
Palate
Smoked almonds, sizzling bacon, a touch of redcurrant, and chewy vanilla fudge.
Finish
Warm spices linger, along with smouldering embers.
