A straight malt whiskey here from the grain to glass distillery MB Roland in Kentucky, USA. It's not only malt that the distillery has used for this expression - there's also white corn and rye in there, to help round out the flavour profile and add a hint of spiciness into the mix.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Waxy peels, honeycomb, charred oak and buttered crumpets.
Palate
Spicier on the palate with black pepper and clove, though its's till got plenty of buttered bread and honey notes to it.
Finish
Lasting red apple and caarmel.
