We bottled up another single cask of Speyside single malt for our exclusive Master of Malt collection! Distilled in 2014, the whisky matured for eight years in a refill hogshead before bottling in 2023. It's from a secret Speyside distillery. Secret bottlings work somewhat like a giant version of hook-a-duck at the fun fair. All the barrels have a number painted on the underneath, and every couple of months, a gaggle of indie bottlers like us gather around with fishing rods, hoping we have luck on our side and catch a cask filled with whisky, not a dud that's filled with rubber ducks. A release of 500 bottles.
