Black Friday is a big deal in the world of retail, and as we happen to be a retailer of our favourite thing on planet Earth, whisky, we had to ensure it was impressively represented in the annual black hole of bargains.
As well as selling whisky, we also have the good fortune of bottling it, so we rummaged through our racking and picked out this rather special Highland single malt Scotch. Matured for 15 years in first-fill and refill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts, bottled without chill-filtration and in clear glass to showcase the glorious unadulterated natural colour.
It's a deliciously robust and characterful sipper with generous waves of biscuity malt, buttery pastry, maple syrup, and creamy vanilla. Hard to believe that price tag... (did we mention, matured for 15 YEARS?!) but in the spirit of Black Friday, we're letting this limited edition batch go for an absolute steal. The distillery of origin must remain a secret though. That's the deal.

Apple strudel, hints of caramelised biscuits with sweet cinnamon, and vibrant barley join creamy notes of rusk biscuits and vanilla wafers. Banana bread and a subtle touch of fennel salami, and big, sweet waves of biscuity, mapley malt.
Superbly robust and creamy all at once, with bold malt, burnt biscuits, panna cotta, and hazelnut chantilly. Sweet, nutty notes of silky maple syrup support hints of ginger and nutmeg, with toffee apples and malt loaf backed by rich oaken warmth.
Woody spices and dark toffee linger, with burnt vanilla custard, apricot pastries, and a splendid balance of warming, cakey spice.
Whichever distillery this came from, please give us more! It is a belter.
