With no age statement, and from a secret distillery - we can't tell you much about this one. However, we can tell you the result of all this secrecy is that we can buy and sell this whisky at very low prices, especially when you think about how good the spirit in the bottle is. We can't say anything for certain, but it's distinctly South Coast in style. Try for yourselves and post a comment if you want to guess where it's from...
Southern coast of Islay on the nose! Big on classic cool wood smoke with sweet honey sweetness. Hints of sticking plasters, grist and maybe lemon sherbet?
Rounded with dry notes of iodine amidst a beautiful butterscotch sweetness. Dry wood smoke, and hints of tarmac on a hot day, but gentle ones, mind.
Becomes more savoury, with just a touch of creosote, and all the usual suspects iodine, smoke etc. Very good indeed.
