Nose: Rich toffee pennies, raw honey, golden syrup and orchard fruit all up front with plenty of allspice then tobacco leaf and tropical fruit developing.

Palate: Very round. Caramel shortbread, sliced pear, torn plums, orange peel, dry spice and subtle chocolatey notes all combine seamlessly.

Finish: Long with lingering sticky toffee pudding and more plum notes.

Master of Malt 30 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky Reviews

Not overly nice, a plain Jane I'm afraid.

Feels significantly older must be a beer swilling pig.

old armagnac, leather arm chairs ?
Polished oak floors ?
Are you a complete buffoon ? What a series of ridiculous statements! Who licks armchairs for goodness sakes to get a likeness of flavours or even enjoys the Taste. Then there is the polished oak floors? A polished floor is used to seal up the oak, therefore leaving no oak present at the surface-usually just lacquer or the sealent is what you will be tasting by this stage.
Once again a series of completely retarded statements made from someone to charictorise a whiskie.

If you like the filthy taste of a dirty old armchair then apparently, this is the whisky for you.

It was a fair balanced blend, nothing to rave about whatsoever. A bit light on flavour and depth. All in all its a $200.00 price point whisky , not worth a cent more.

Feels significantly older

There's a huge amount of rich fruit here, but also a load of rancio - old armagnac, leather armchairs, and polished oak floors. This is a very, very accomplished blend. Bravo, MoM.
