Bourbon 6 Year Old (Master of Malt) 70cl Whiskey

Confession: We do like a generous helping of wheat in a bourbon's mashbill. Matured in a new oak cask, this one has fire but also balance, which is why we bottled it at a cask strength of 55.4% ABV (110.8 proof in bourbon parlance). A splash of water suits it, opening things up but it is just as gluggable at barrel strength.

Just 279 bottles came from this single barrel, bottled without chill-filtration or added colour (as always). Our verdict on tasting? Something along the lines of blimey. Possibly less printable.
