A Secret Speyside Distillery 10 Year Old 2014 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
What can we tell you about this Secret Speyside single malt? What we can't tell you is the distillery of origin, because it's a secret innit! We can share that this Speysider was distilled in 2014, and spent the next decade maturing in a single refill hogshead. We cracked the cask open in 2024, releasing 553 bottles, all-natural colour, no chill filtration for our Master of Malt Single Cask collection. If there was a website that could guess the source of a whisky based on tasting notes for clues, now would be the time to use it, and if we had a link we wood definitely share it!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Welcoming layers of creamy grist and estery, slightly overripe fruit, gooseberry fool, and slightly sweetened crème fraîche. A touch of sawdust beneath, with vanilla shortbread, lemon drizzle cake, and banana loaf.
Palate
Fruit Salad sweeties and whipped vanilla cream are backed by some savoury oak and hints of bread dough, then waves of chocolate honeycomb, buttery caramel, and green apple arrive.
Finish
Creamy, with those ripe fruit notes carrying all the way through from the nose, and pineapple cubes, backed by balanced oaken char, rusk biscuits, almond tarts, and sweet fudge.
