Tonic Wine Cask Finish Single Malt 10 Year Old - Master of Malt x The Rhythm and Booze Project
Wow! These genuinely flew out the door! Are we on to something...?
So... About these Tonic Wine Cask Finish whiskies released 1 April... We actually went and made them! Find out more over on the blog.
Cutting edge doesn't quite cut it here. We teamed up with our friends The Rhythm and Booze Project to create something truly unusual, rare, and exciting, and that's exactly the result. Behold, a 10 year old single malt whisky finished in a tonic wine cask! You definitely don't see whisky like this every day. The immensely fruity and intriguingly herbaceous influence that the tonic wine cask has had on the single malt whisky is truly something to behold, sure to fascinate even the most innovation-weary whisky fan.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Butterscotch, buttery pastries, barley, swiftly joined by vivid notes of damson, blackcurrant juice, potpourri, and menthol.
Palate
Juicy redcurrants, perfumed malt, almond butter, stewed plums, very subtly rubbery at points, a touch of Alpine herb freshness.
Finish
Vanilla pod, dense red wine, chewy caramel.
