This is one of two limited edition sets of 420 bottles featuring 5 unique labels of Dave Broom, Serge Valentin, Richard Paterson, Marcin Miller and Charles MacLean.
The initial front of this dram is sweet and briny, inviting for anyone who likes the West coast peat of the Scottish Isles. It follows with a big peat reek, heather and tundra flora.
The nose gives hints of big peat yet on the front of the palate this is a smouldering delight with balance of digestive biscuit and malt, candyfloss and smoked oysters in sunflower oil. To the back it builds in complexity and starts to give more of the smoke from the nose.
The smoke, citrus and mild sweet/savour keep coming, good satisfying length. Delightful!
