From Japan's Mars comes a lip-smacking release from the Cosmo range – this edition of the stellar* blended malt whisky has been given a finishing period in Manzanilla sherry casks. This has really bolstered the red fruit notes found in the original expression, and introduced some nutty elements too, making for a satisfying sip.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Milk chocolate, raspberry, orange zest, and walnut.
Palate
Still has a raspberry jam hint to it, now paired with raisin and prune. Nutty coffee, vanilla, and caramel.
Finish
Quite long, with whispers of cassia and black pepper developing underneath the wine-like sweetness.
