Joining the collection from independent bottler Chorlton Whisky, this single malt from Mannochmore spent 16 years maturing in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt. The cask yielded a total of 424 bottles, without added colour or chill filtration, and at natural cask strength.
Heaps of syrupy sherried fruit, leathery oak, dark cherry chocolate, and waves of tar.
Creamy layers of praline, juicy sultanas, candied orange and sticky ginger cake.
A touch of anise joins for the finish alongside dark, jammy fruit and sweet, honeyed cake.
