It's time for more Mannochmore! This one was distilled back in February 2009, and allowed to age in a refill sherry hogshead for 12 years before eventually being independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. as part of The Cooper's Choice range. Just 312 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Maple syrup on blueberry pancakes, warming oaky spiciness, a few drops of softly sweet sherry.
Palate
Apple pie with a few blackberries thrown in the mix, cinnamon, cassia, poached pear, toffee.
Finish
Fruit tea and waxy orange peels.
