Bourbon
Another stellar bottling from Chorlton, this one began its life at Speyside's Mannochmore back in September 2007. Over a decade of ageing was spent in a bourbon barrel, until it was independently bottled at 12 years old, with a release of 108 bottles at 58.7% ABV. Some wonderfully creamy notes imparted from the cask in this one.
Spiced apple crumble with custard, buttery oak and lemon curd.
Cinnamon and oak spice, milk chocolate and more vanilla, alongside a peppery hint.
Old leather and buttery pastry, with more spice coming through.
