Mannochmore 12 Year Old 2007 (cask 13780) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Independently bottled single malt from Mannochmore in Speyside, matured in a single refill hogshead for 12 years. It slumbered from July 2007 to December 2019, when it was bottled at 48.4% ABV by Douglas Laing. 347 bottles were produced for the Old Particular series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple pie with a flaky, buttery crust, plus some dried peels and crushed cinnamon.
Palate
Very slightly savoury with basil and pepper, with crunchy brown sugar and earthy vanilla pod.
Finish
Melted butter, cassia, hints of damp oak.
