This was distilled at Mannochmore in Spring 1999 and aged for 12 years in a refill hogshead before bottling in Winter 2012. A single cask release from the Douglas Laing Provenance range.
Nose: Floral and fragrant nose, with hints of soft spices, cedar, honey and malt.
Palate: Spiced and warming, with notes of pipe tobacco and café latter. A touch of rum spice.
Finish: Demerara sugar and apple on the tail.
