A single cask vintage 2012 Mannochmore here, bottled in 2023 by Fable. Every whisky from this independent bottler features a story and this one tells the tale of the Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay. It was aged in a single hogshead cask before 280 bottles were filled without colouring or chill filtration at a cask strength of 56% ABV. This is said to be the last of the 'Hound' Mannochmores before Fable moves on to a new story.
Waxy orange peels, apple pie, honey, and cinnamon.
More zesty citrus and fresh orchard fruit with toffee in support.
Honeyed and a little spicy.
