Mannochmore 11 Year Old 2010 – The Rising Sun (James Eadie)

Mannochmore Rising Sun Bottling Note

11 year old single malt from Mannochmore, independently bottled by James Eadie. This expression was drawn from three re-charred hogsheads that were laid down in 2010 and cracked open in 2022. Following that rest, the whisky was bottled at 46% ABV and bestowed a name that refers to a pub that James Eadie once owned years ago.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Bright fruit sweetness, with hints of roughly chopped herbs and freshly baked rye bread.

Palate: Brown sugar, peppercorn, clementine, buttered crumpets.

Finish: Grassy malt gives it a fresh feel on the finish.
