A Càrn Mòr bottling of Mannochmore - a Càrn Mannoch(Mòr)e, if you will. Anyway, this is an 11 year old expression from Mannochmore, distilled in 2009 and left to age in first-fill hogsheads until 2021, when it was bottled up at 47.5% ABV. 721 bottles were produced.
Buttery pastry, apricot, fresh ginger, a hint of heather.
Slightly peppery on the palate, with green apple and hot cross buns.
Grassy, subtly toasty, a dusting of brown sugar.
