A generous spell in tawny Port casks for this Mannochmore from Murray McDavid’s Benchmark collection! Distilled in 2016, the Speyside single malt initially matured in traditional hogsheads before spending its final five years in tawny Port barriques from Portuguese producer Caves de Murça. Half its maturation is hardly a fleeting introduction to Port. Bottled in 2026 at ten years old, the release yielded 587 bottles at 58.1% ABV, with plenty of fruit and pastry notes to explore.
