Mannochmore
Scotland
Single Malt
Look at how dark this whisky is! That's why it was named "The Black Whisky". Loch Dhu is actually Gaelic for "Black Lake", this was distilled at Mannochmore and has gained a cult status, quite a collector's item.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Thoroughly enjoyed two bottles of this fine but unusual malt, only to find out later how much it would now be worth. Fortunately it was shared with some fine friends and no regrets. RIP Loch Dhu.
Years searching for another bottle...to find it DISCONTINUED.... WTF
alas out of my price range, a delicacy.
Tasted in Albanach Bar in Edinburgh recently, tad expensive but worth it. Very easy to drink.
