What you might not expect are the types of cask used – this blended Irish whiskey was aged in Kentucky bourbon casks, Oloroso sherry casks, and red ale casks! Bet you didn't predict that! A wonderfully approachable whiskey, superbly suitable for sharing with friends.

Nose Melted butter, toffee apple, and a touch of milky coffee.

Palate Cinnamon, dates, pencil shavings, dark chocolate.

Finish Brown sugar, ginger, a little stewed apple.

Great story, smooth and versatile
Thought I'd try this Irish whiskey because I love the story behind it - a family of Irish publicans who put their heart and soul into their whiskey just as they do their Irish pubs. This whiskey is so smooth and full of flavour, it's great to drink neat and just spectacular in cocktails. Because of the versatile flavour profile that comes from being triple cask matured, the whiskey stands out on its own but also compliments so many different flavours. Will definitely be buying again!

Excellent blended Irish Whiskey, soft on the palate, to me it is warm apple crumble with vanilla pod custard - delicious!
