Before being independently bottled by Hunter Laing for the First Edition series, this whisky was matured in a refill hogshead from 1997 to 2018. 288 bottles of this 21 year old single malt were produced.
Pleasantly grassy, with whiffs of green pear and fresh linen following.
Develops an earthy quality, balanced by plum and sponge cake sweetness.
Slightly peppery, bolstered by stem ginger heat.
Delicious wax, honey, pear. Very enjoyable.
