13 year old single malt from the Macduff Distillery here, aged in a single bourbon barrel from October 2006 to September 2020. Following that rest, A.D. Rattray came along bottled up the whisky as part of its Cask Collection series, with only 228 bottles produced.
Chocolate panettone, banana bread and blueberry muffins - lots of baked goods!
Buttery and softly sweet, though hints of toasted cinnamon and caraway give it a spicy core.
Pecans, apricots, grist and orange peel.
