This Swedish single malt from Mackmyra spent five years maturing in a bourbon cask, and now 144 bottles join our exclusive Master of Malt collection. Mackmyra was Sweden's first whisky distillery when it was founded back in 1999, and it's certainly taken the whisky world by storm since those early days.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toffee and juicy, sweet barley open the way for waves of toasted vanilla, soft peaches, and apricots, with buttery oak and chocolate honeycomb.
Palate
Soft and creamy, with butter biscuits, vanilla custard, and homemade marshmallow. Toasted oak rides beneath, with silky butterscotch and a distant smidge of candied ginger.
Finish
That juicy barley lingers alongside rich oaken vanilla and trickles of runny caramel, with a warming dusting of pepper creeping in right at the end.
