Description
From Mackmyra's wonderful Moments series comes the Fjällmark single malt Swedish whisky. This expression was finished in casks that held previously cloudberry wine, as well as casks that held Pedro Ximénez sherry and Oloroso sherry. The name Fjällmark translates to 'Mountain Land', which sounds awesome.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Poached pear and hot chocolate, with a hint of nutmeg hiding underneath.
Palate
Warming oak arrives first, before notes of vanilla and salted fudge.
Finish
Lingering dried fruit and stem ginger.
