A sherried single malt from the Macduff Distillery, matured in a single sherry butt for 27 years. After resting from June 1991 to 2019, this whisky was independently bottled by Ian Macleod as part of the Dun Bheagan range with an outturn of 634 bottles.
Hot chocolate, honeyed malt and malt loaf (with butter, obviously).
Slightly grassier than you might expect from the nose, though sherried sweetness still sticks around.
