A 25 year old Macduff single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single Sherry butt from February 1990 to November 2015. It comes to us via Douglas Laing's excellent indie bottling series, Xtra Old Particular, presented in a wooden case. 287 bottles were produced.
Chocolatey and rich, with a touch of raisin.
Freshly ground coffee and dark chocolate.
Crushed nuts swimming in caramel.
