This is a 21 year old Macduff single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by Hunter Laing for their Old Malt Cask series. Only 262 bottles of this brilliant malt from cask 9909 were produced, with no chill filtering and no colouring.
N: Custard creams, Brambly apples, vanilla, honey, Hot milk, Mustard Powder, Caramel, Black Pepper and a little wet paint. M: Malt, Green Apples, Grass, Dry bitter oak, Sweet peppers, Sherbet lemons, Malt vinegar, Waxy Honey. F: Brief, Bitter, Short. For a 21 year old, it tastes immature. I think anyone shelling out £83 will be mildly cheesed off.
