Macduff 2013 (bottled 2018) (cask 18013) - Malts Of Scotland

A 2013 vintage Macduff, aged in a single sherry hogshead until 2018. Following maturation (which imparted a wealth of sherried delicious and a rather dark hue), this whisky was independently bottled by Malts of Scotland, resulting in just 319 bottles.

Nose

Blackberry, almond, chocolate brownie, barley and nutmeg.

Palate

Toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate, spicy clove-studded orange, peanut brittle.

Finish

Caramel apple, coffee bean and grassy malt.
