A 20 year old single malt from Macduff (the distillery, not the character from The Scottish Play), matured in a single refill barrel from October 1997 to November 2017. 134 bottles were released as part of Hunter Laing's long-running Old Malt Cask series.
A mixture of orchard fruit wafts (think clementine and apple), followed by savoury malt notes.
Oat-y biscuits, a hint of raspberry, fresh cream and black pepper.
Toffee, chocolate chips and orange oil.
