Ah, autumn! You're so difficult to spell early in the morning, but we can't hold that against you when you give us great big piles of leaves, Halloween and whiskies like this 15 year old Macduff, which was distilled in the autumn of 1997 and matured in cask 9873. Douglas Laing then bottled it at 46% abv as part of their Provenance range.

It is really rare and super cost per money. Really long peppery aftertaste and classic "bourbon" taste and nose.
This is rare stuff, found last bottle in a store and bought it immediately. I can't believe the low price, this Scotch should be out there with the big boys. At first taste very zingy, after few sips the flavors are coming out, but the best part is the finish. Oh my... what a great and long finish, lol. Deep, a bit fruity and very, very smooth. Definitely one of the best I had in the mid-range scotchs. Highly recommended, and since they are not making this whisky for a long time now, it's really rare to find one. So if you do, do yourself a favor and buy as many as you can, you'll thank me later.
