Here we've got a fabulous indie bottling of Macduff single malt Scotch whisky, matured for 14 years and given a finishing period in a refill Moscatel wine cask. Following that, it was bottled by Dràm Mòr at 51.7% ABV, with just 165 bottles produced. If you happen to be a fan of wine cask finished whiskies and Macduff, you'll be excited about this one.
Strawberry, orange peel, malt, Custard Cream biscuits.
Chewy dates, slightly savoury with buttered toast, some dry oak warmth.
Honeyed apples and jammy sultanas.
Such a great easy drinking whisky. Subtle notes of grape sweetness on the finish is amazing. This is my second bottle as the first one I shared with friends which didn’t last very long!
