Macduff 11 Year Old TBWC Bottling Note

"Right, one more Boilermaker, then I've got something I need to take care of."

Indie Macduff single malt Scotch whisky here, aged for 11 years before being bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company (their fourth release from this distillery)! Though the words spoken on the label by Macduff (off of Macbeth - you know, the play and that) are somewhat ominous, the whisky within the bottle shows off light, bright notes of honey, ginger and apricot!

Batch 4 is a release of 464 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral malt, sugarcane and honeycomb. A drop of water unlocks juicy notes of apricot and more vanilla-y goodness.

Palate: Toasted brown bread with lemon curd. A little bit of ginger cake spiciness hides on the mid-palate.

Finish: Oily hops, apple pie and Golden Grahams.

Crunchie Flapjacks
honeycomb, rich oaty goodness, all with a liberal dusting of Demerara sugar. Quite exquisite.
