A 10 year old Macduff bottled in 2018 by Murray McDavid for the Benchmark series. Distilled in 2007, this Speysider was matured in a single sherry butt and bottled at 46% ABV with an outturn of 865 bottles.
Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and extra-thick double cream.
Notes of cedar, oaky spices, fresh malt and dried fruit.
A long, malty finish. Lingering dark chocolate bitterness.
