Distilled on 16 April 1991 and matured for 23 years in a single refill bourbon hogshead, this Macallan single cask bottling was released by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society under the evocative name ‘Northern Lights’. Bottled at 47.7% ABV, just 262 bottles were produced, offering a rare glimpse of bourbon-matured Macallan at its most elegant.
