“Simply impressive. Tried it first as is - rich, fruity and smoky. You definitely get the sherry and smoke and long finish with that high ABV punch. Couple drops of water open up some new flavours. Then I added a shot (about 5ml) of water into the glass to cool it down and I sipped on the rest with great pleasure. Quality stuff, get a bottle.”

Description

This is the second limited edition Fèis Ìle bottling from Mac-Talla, released for the 2023 festival. The Islay single malt Scotch whisky is drawn from 26 Pedro Ximénez sherry-seasoned casks, which give the meaty peat character some jammy red berry and sweet spice notes. Absolutely delicious.
