This limited-edition Islay single malt joins the Mac-Talla range following maturation in a combo of bourbon barrels and charred American oak casks from Kentucky's Kelvin Cooperage, followed by a finish in new American oak barrels. The resulting whisky boasts an intense and velvety profile, balancing oaken sweetness and peat smoke with waves of vanilla, toffee, and dark brown sugar.
Toffee apples, sweet notes of burnt brown sugar and rich oak char.
Smoky oak and gentle peat are backed by floral malt, cakey spices, buttery fudge, and vanilla.
Sticky toffee pudding, fruit cake, butterscotch, caramelised nuts, cinnamon, and distant peppery warmth.
