This is the second Mac-Talla release to go all-in on full Pedro Ximénez maturation, and sings in a combination of first-fill PX sherry butts and refill PX sherry hogsheads. Matured and nurtured by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers from still to bottle, the single malt is bottled at a muscular 52.8% ABV with no chill-filtration, and no messing about. It's rich, smoky, dessert-leaning take on Islay keeps one foot firmly planted on the coast.
