Mac-Talla PX
This is the second Mac-Talla release to go all-in on full Pedro Ximénez maturation, and sings in a combination of first-fill PX sherry butts and refill PX sherry hogsheads. Matured and nurtured by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers from still to bottle, the single malt is bottled at a muscular 52.8% ABV with no chill-filtration, and no messing about. It's rich, smoky, dessert-leaning take on Islay keeps one foot firmly planted on the coast.

Nose
Sticky dates, raisins and gentle peat smoke.
Palate
Dark dried fruit, treacle toffee, coastal brine and warming spice.
Finish
Long, rich and smoky, with raisins and soft peat lingering.
